This fleece is from our ewe Sif. She is a spotted grey ewe born in 2019.
Her fleece weight is 22.1 oz. Heavily skirted. Ewe was coated in the fall before we started giving them hay.
This is a sheared fleece. Sif is a spotted ewe, so her fleece has a lot of range of color from white to charcoal grey. It is a really fun fleece to work with.
Her fleece is pretty short, with tight curly tips. I would wash this fleece and lock spin it into a fun bumbly yarn.
Here is a video where I lock spin a washed fleece that is short and has very curly tips:
I included a copy of the micron data for this fleece in the photos.
