This fleece is from our ewe Baxter. At 5 years old, she has retained her fineness and crimp remarkably well, which is exactly what we are breeding for. I have attached a screenshot of the AFD report we received from Texas A&M on this ewe's wool sample which we submitted in March:
Her fleece weight is 18.6 oz. Heavily skirted. Ewe was coated in the fall before we started giving them hay.
This is a rooed fleece.
