Fine carded wool batts

This fine carded wool batt is a pretty light grey.

I hand washed and carded the neck wool from my black ewes to create these beautiful fine carded wool batts. 

I sheared in March and hand washed, flick carded and made this wool into batts on my drum carder.

We micron test our flock every year, our average flock AFD is in the low 20's.

We breed for fine wooled shetlands with very crimpy fibers, so you can wear the wool next to the skin and it is bouncy and elastic.
