All you need to make a rustic felted pumpkin is available in this listing. The full kit includes one needle, a hand cut (ie imperfect) cut pad, .3 oz of brown washed curly locks, a small amount of cream wool for accenting, a felting needle and an orange ball for the base form.

The wool balls are from wool from our sheep. Some of them may have bits of hay in them as I use scrap wool for the base, they easily pick out, or you can leave them in for a nice rustic look.
The wool I dyed to make the orange form is fawn colored wool, so the orange base balls are not a cheerful bright orange. Rather they have more of an antique patina, and in my opinion, look a little bit sinister and cool.
This is not a children's craft - the needles can injure if not used correctly.
Here is a photo of a pumpkin I made from the kit materials.
It assumes the user has some familiarity with felting needles. There are many intro to felting videos and tutorials on the web if you need the basic understanding of how to felt.
