This listing is for a somewhat sinister print of a rendering of Sleeping Beauty. The wronged witch is on her way to the castle in order to fulfill the prophecy and put Sleeping Beauty into a deep sleep. She holds her distaff in her hand which will be the tool to prick Sleeping Beauty's finger. The witch is surrounded by her little toady assistants. I love the juxtaposition of the sinister mood with the sweet, cherubic appearance of the witche's profile. Artist is Jessica Gadra, a local artist/illustrator who specializes in fun takes on fairy tales and nursery rhymes. I met Jessica at an art show in Buffalo and fell in love with her work so she and I arranged for me to purchase and offer prints with a sheep or wool related theme. Print is 8.5" x 11". It's Matt fits an 11 x13 " frame.
