Where I'm Gonna Be in June 2022

Where I'm Gonna Be in June 2022

Lambing is done, fleece auction is complete - >bring on the summer.  Easy chores in the summer, but constantly checking water buckets.  I have held on to some fleeces so that I can enjoy processing them into handspun yarns and batts.  I will be reviewing our sheep roster to find sheep to offer for sale and will be posting those once I've created the list.

Looking forward to events in June, hope I get to see you this month!

If you want me to bring anything to try (wheels, fiber, whatever) or want to just meet up while I am out and about, let me know and we can set up a meet.

Knitting Guild of Buffalo

June 2 2022 is the Knitting Guild of Buffalo meeting.  I will be there as a civilian, not at a vendor table - but still - happy to bring a wheel or carder if you want to try.

St. Leo the Great RC Church
885 Sweet Home Road
Amherst, NY  14226

Doors open at 6:30 PM
Masks optional
CNY Fiber Festival
I will be vending at the CNY festival this year, in my purple tent - Spot OA2, just diagonal from the food vendors.  I will arrive and setup on Friday, camping at the event, and then departing on Sunday.  Majacraft Wheels, carders, combs will be on hand for you to try - please stop by and say hello!
Genesee Valley Handspinners Guild Meeting - is 6/18/2022 from 10 to 2. I won't be at this meeting, but if you are a spinner or want to learn, you should check this group out.  First Presbyterian Church, 70 East Main St, in Victor, NY

I do a live feed from the barn every Friday at noon est on my Facebook Farm Page.  Usually runs 45 minutes or until my battery on my phone runs out. If you miss the live feed, the video of the event gets posted on my page for your viewing pleasure. In the summer it is possible the sheep are not in the barn, so we'll give it our best shot, if the barn is empty the feed will be short!

Hope to see you in June!  BTW, I comply with all Covid guidelines, and in the case of a surge, I will likely not attend the scheduled meetings.
