This fleece is from our ewe Alcina. She is a fawn katmoget ewe born in 2022, so this is her lamb fleece.
Her fleece weight is 12.1 oz. Heavily skirted. Ewe was coated in the fall before we started giving them hay.
This is a roo'd fleece.
Alcina is in my ear scratching club, a group of ewes that reliably come up to me for affection when I am in the barn. Her face has very striking markings. She is the ewe I rooed in my "Rooing" video. If you watched that video, you would have seen that she had scurf throughout her fleece, so I decided to discount her fleece to account for that.
I included a copy of the micron data for this fleece in the photos.
